The August 3 Meeting was called to order at 7:18 PM by the President with the

Pledge of Allegiance. 26 Members were present.

 

  AUGUST 3,  SHOW Items.

   - We had 296 Cars on the Field, not including Club Members Cars.

   - We have had TONS of Positive feedback from attendees and Vendors.

   -  Cars came from as far away as Maryland and Colorado.

   -  On-Line Registration was way up this Year.

   -  The Pictures of Each Car was a BIG Hit.

   -  We have Only received  1  Crabby E-Mail from somebody in a Truck that did NOT Win.

   -  The Sound Guy did a Good Job for us this Year, We are going to try and Tie Him in for

       Next Year.

-  We  need more people Parking Cars Next Year.

-  We need to Sell Show T-Shirts for Next Year and Beyond, many inquires were made.

   -  Need more Signage.

   -  It was Suggested that we get away from Judging and Move to a Picks Show.

   -  We need to Build our Bank Account for Future Shows.

   -  Thank You to Elliot Pollack, for walking around and taking lots of Pictures of the Show.

   -  Raffle Winners – 1st- Jim Esch, $500,  2nd – Mike Commiso, $300, 

                                   3rd – Heather Goodrich, $200.

 

 

Treasurer’s Report given by Miles;

   -  82  Members have paid their Dues for 2010.

   -  We did well this Year with the Show, But Not ALL of the Financials are done yet.

       and it was Requested for the Financial Report be delayed until next Month.

·        The Treasurer’s Report was accepted by the Membership in attendance.

Old Business –

-         Bethany House has asked if we could bring by 4 – 5 Cars for a Display for the Residents.  Date to be determined.  If interested talk to Jim Brady.

 

 

New Business

-         September 18, a Bride would Like an Old Car for Her Wedding, She is willing to

pay $200.  If interested contact Jim Brady.

-         There is a Request for a 50’s – 60’s Convertible for August 28.  They are willing to

pay.  If interested contact Jim Brady.

-         Rick Aiello picked up a Digital Camera for the Friday Cruise In’s Pictures for $40.

-         We are going to Paint the Power House at St. Johns sometime in September.  Volunteers

are being sought.

-         Jim Brady is going to be Straightening Up Club Equipment at St. Johns August 5,

Volunteers were asked for, Several Spoke up.

-         Adirondack Bank is taking Donations to HELP need Kids with School Supplies,

Mike Szaraz made a Motion to Donate $250 for Book Bags.  2nd Larry Natarelli

Motion Passed. 

-         Jim Brady received a compliment on how we do our Friday Cruise In from a Guy

from Ilion, and He is thinking about joining our Club.

 

News

-          Very SAD News,  Jim Rasmussen  Passed away August 12, 2010.  He is Cruising

 the Smooth Roads with God, and Showing his Mustang in Paradise.  May your

 Prayers go out to His Family and Friends.

 

SHOWS

-  Remsen KC Pickens Show is August 7.

-  Lake Delta Fire Dept. Show is September 25, from 9AM to 5PM.

  -  Lake George Show  September 11 & 12

  -  Wampsville Show  September 12
