The January 4 meeting was called to order at 7:08 PM by the New President with the
Pledge of Allegiance. 22 Members were present.
The President started off the meeting with a message to all Members, “If you have a
problem, contact me and I will try to get it resolved.” Also, if there is any you want
done, or ideas to make the Club better, let Jim know.
Treasurer’s Report given by Miles;
- The Club’s Donation was made to the Rome Mission, along with the Cash Register.
- Past Years Sponsors were : Advance Auto Parts, Boulevard Recreation,
BnP Machine and Service, Jamie’s Place, John’s Auto Restoration, and
Volkswagen of Rome.
- 22 Members have paid their Dues for 2010.
- Lysle Parker and Jim Esch Volunteered to Audit the Club’s Finances prior to the
February Meeting.
* A motion was made by Jessie and a second by Larry to accept the report.
Motion passed.
Old Business
- All Excess Club Property has been picked up and paid for.
- Club Inventory, Photo Printer, Rick Aiello has at His House.
New Business
- If there is a Rome School District Snow Day on the Day of our Meeting, the Meeting
will be held the following Tuesday. If that Meeting is Snowed Out, there will not be
a Meeting for that Month.

New Business - continued
- Cruise-In Chairman, a Volunteer was asked for of the Members present to Chair the
Cruise-Ins. With only Rick Aiello Volunteering, He was appointed the Chairman.
- There are some mistakes in the By-Laws, Roger Smith is going to work up what
revisions need to be made for the Club to review.
- There is a want to add a For Sale Section to the News Letter. If you have something
Car related to sell, present it to the Secretary to place in the News Letter.
- Cruise-In Sponsor Appreciation was brought up, Rick thinks there is enough materials
to do Plaques for this past Years Sponsors and he will see what he can do.
- Post Office Box – Jim and Larry are going to go to the Post Office and change the Box’s
charge from Larry to Jim.
- We are going to be Updating the Membership List soon, so get your Dues in as soon as
possible to remain on the active list.
- Winter Activities – Dave Esch mentioned about going to Al Goldstein’s private car
collection, and to the Motor Books Library in Holland Patent. If you would like to go
or have an idea, contact Dave Esch , Jim Brady or Rick Aiello.
- This past Honor America Days Parade there was a Non-member of the Club that
showed up and participated in the Parade in the Club’s Section. Several Members
do not feel this is right. The consensus of the Members present felt that in the
future, if somebody wants to participate in a Club function as a Club Member
they will need to be accepted by the Members present and pay their Dues or they
will be asked to move on.
News
- NEW ADDITION to the Club - Skye Elisabeth Messina, born to Peder and Tina Messina,
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
- There was no meeting in December of the Car Club Association. Next Meting
January 12, 2010.
- Kelly has Updated our Website Banner for the Show.
- Steve Gorczynski, has offered to Host a Daytona 500 party at his house February 14, any one interested let him know at the February meeting, or call Jim Brady. Just bring a Dish
to pass, Soda or Beer, and remember DO NOT DRINK and DRIVE.
A motion was made and seconded to close the meeting. Motion passed.
