The July 6 Meeting was called to order at 7:01 PM by the President with the

Pledge of Allegiance. 27 Members were present.

 

  AUGUST 3,  SHOW Items.

  - We NEED ALL MEMBERS to HELP OUT, EVEN a LITTLE is a BIG HELP.

        -Kelly stated there are about 113 people preregistered for the show as of 7-23-10.

         She has received nothing but good reviews from those who have returned our forms.

       - There are several Vendors that have shown interest in this Years Show. 

       - Have as many as  5  Food Vendors so far for the Show.  $200 in Advance $250 day of.

       - Craft Type Vendor spots $35.00 per spot.

       - Town of Lee Highway Dept. to Loan us their Portable Lights this Year.

       - There was Questions and Discussion about Sound System for this Years Show.

       - No Porta Johns for this Year, since Town of Lee added the New Restrooms.

       - Rite Aid is packing the Goodie Bags this Year, to be well worth it per Ted.

       - There are going to be  2  Golf Carts from Sleepy Hollow Golf Course and  2 Carts

          The Mohawk Glenn Golf Course.

-     Scotty’s is going to have the Race Car Train at the Show again this Year, Thanks to

Rite Aid, Ted is still working on the price.

-     Troopers and Sheriffs have been notified about the Show and will keep an eye over us.

-     Gulla was low bid on sign prints for $420 total.  Motion by Rick,   

-      Signs are done and have been placed out and about, nice job guys.

-     Sign Prints need to be removed before they are stored this year.

-     Kelly is going to be adding Photos to the WEB Site this Year.

-     Carbone’s can only donate door prizes to help with this years show.

-     Roger Girouard is Donating Items for Lane Marking.

-     South Pavilion is set aside for the Family Reunion this year.

-     Field to be Lined Friday, due to Parade on Saturday.

-     Field Work/Layout – Friday 6PM, Saturday 10AM.

-     Sunday be at the Park by 7AM.

-

August Show –

-     Rite Aid will have  2 Race Cars on Display, Davidson’s  2 Cars,  Ford a Concept Car,

          Rome VW to Display a Car.

-     Received J.C. Whitney Catalogs for Goodie Bags,

-     Kelly has Classes listed on Computer, Hopefully this will reduce the Dead time

          Between Judging and Awards Presentation.

-     Winners to Drive Car up to get Trophy.

-     Rite Aid to Loan Traffic Cones for the Show, to mark Lanes.

-     WEAR Gray Members Shirt or Yellow SHOW SHIRTS,  THE DAY of the SHOW.

 

Treasurer’s Report given by Miles;

   -  74  Members have paid their Dues for 2010.

   -  Cruise In Sponsors – We have Already received Close to $1500.00 from our Sponsors.

     * The Treasurer’s Report was accepted by the Membership in attendance.

 

Old Business –

-         Friday Night Cruise- In

-         We would like  4  people to work Gate.

-         Dave Harrington – Selling Sunglasses at Cruise-In, Donate a Pair/Wk. Motion Passed.

-         Honor America Day Parade

- Line UP on East Pine St. 10:30AM.  After the Parade, Lou Danello invited the Club to Pinti field For a Picnic  1PM – 5PM  July 31. 

-         Portable Tables – have a Split in another of the New Tables, Been replaced by Jim Brady.

-         Bethany House has asked if we could bring by 4 – 5 Cars for a Display for the Residents

sometime in July.  Date to be determined.  If interested talk to Jim Brady.

 

New Business

-         Gerald Grahm – Requesting pictures of, or an Old Club Jacket.  So that he can get a

New one made for his Father who was an Original Member of this Club.

 

News

-          Dick Bronson Placed 1st  Old Forge Show,  Jim Rasmussen and AJ Fellone 2nd’s

-          Soprano’s Show, we Won Club Participation and Several Members Placed.

Congratulations to ALL who Placed at the Show.  Good Showing in our Neighbors

Show.  They had a good Goodie Bag.

 

Regular Meeting closed at 7:39PM. with Show Items Discussion continued after.

Motion by Rick Aiello, Second Jessie Sweeny, Motion Passed.
