The March 2 meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM by the President with the

Pledge of Allegiance. 24 Members were present.

 

  -   Kelly from Rite Aid has found a couple of new Clubs and Websites that She is trying

       to pursued to come to our Show.

       “If you know somebody that is going to come to our Show, Please have them Preregister.”

       She has received several Letters of praise from people who preregistered last year and

       did not come because of the Weather for our carrying over their preregistration.

 

  -   CNY Car Club Association –

      17  of the 21  Clubs have yet to Pay their Dues, we are One of the few Clubs paid up.

      The Give Away Car this Year is a 5 Speed Nova with Air Ride.

      A Sign-Up sheet was passed around to sign up to work the registration desk for the

      Syracuse Nationals, July 16 – 18, 2010.  If you are interested in helping and can not attend

      our meeting, contact Jim Brady to sign up.

      They have Vendors coming from as far away as California.

 

 

Treasurer’s Report given by Miles;

   -  54  Members have paid their Dues for 2010.

     * The Treasurer’s Report was accepted by the Membership in attendance.

 

Old Business

-         Friday Night Cruise- In

      There is One paid Sponsor for the Friday Night Cruise-In,  Boulevard Trailer Sales,

         and  a Verbal Commitment from John’s Auto Restoration.

         We possibly have 2 others interested is sponsoring a night.

  Bob King might possibly do a Radio Interview for the Weekly Sponsor.

Old Business -  Continued.

-         Brass Cruise-In Sponsor Plates were completed by Brian Getbehead, and will be passed

 out this Month.

-         T-Shirts for the Cruise-In  was discussed, and Tabled.

-         Miles and Jim are going to Request use of the Town of Lee Park from the Lee Town

Board.

-         Cruise International Auction at the Turning Stone is still undecided.

-         The Money Raffle for our Car Show is “all set, ready to go.”  Tickets will be passed out

at a later date closer to the Show.

-         Portable Tables was Discussed,  A Price of $40 ea. Was Agreed upon. A Motion By Rick

2nd by Larry Natarelli, and Passed.

-         We will be listing our Show in the Nan-Way Flyer.

-         Don Jones will get our Show listed in the Hemmings Motor News.

-          By-Laws – Proposed  Changes were opened to the Membership, A Motion was made

Peder Messina,  2nd by Jim Esch ,  Motion Passed.

 

New Business

-         If you are having trouble viewing our Website, change your screen resolution to 1024 X 768.

-         It was brought up to send Post Cards to Non-Current  Club Members in order to increase

Membership Numbers.  It was discussed and decided not to.

-         It was discussed to Add Members Names to our Website.

 

News

-         We received a Thank You from the Rome Rescue Mission for our Donations.

-         Our Donation to U.C.P. made print in the Utica OD and the Griff.

-         Carbone GM is possibly having a small Car Show sometime this Summer, we will

update as we hear.

 

A motion was made and seconded to close the meeting. Motion passed.

Meeting closed at 8:13PM.

           Paved Road, Fuel Sold in Drug Stores, Average Worker Made $200 - $400 Per Year.
