The May 3 meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by the President with the

Pledge of Allegiance. 30 Members were present.

 

  CNY Car Show Association

 -    We have enough Volunteers for the Syracuse Nationals.

 

Treasurer’s Report given by Miles;

  -  Our Banking has been Switched to Americu, a Truly Free Account. 

  -  Our CD for The August Show Expenses has been Cashed In.

  -  Blvd. Trailer Sales, Fazio Auto, Ace Hardware, and the Rome Sports Hall of Fame

      have Paid for their Cruise-In Sponsorships.

  -  75 Members have paid their Dues for 2011.

     * The Treasurer’s Report was accepted by the Membership in attendance.

 

Old Business

-         The Friday Cruise-In Offically Start  June 3.

-         State I.D. #  is of unknown location, although Larry N. thinks He Might have it and

will look, Jim has Started the reapplying process.

  -    Mike Sczaraz  Strongly Suggested We Should Still  follow through with Our

       $1800 donation to the Children’s Miracle Network, even though Rite Aid Dropped

       the Ball and said We could do whatever We wanted to with the Money.  He stated it

       was the Ethical thing for Us to do.  Motion by Mike, 2nd by Larry N.,  Motion Passed.

-         The MVCC Aviation Fly-In May 21, had decent weather and there was a Respectable

Show of Support by our Car Club.

 

New Business

-         Norm Jones of the Mohawk Motorcades, wants to get several Car Clubs to do a

Cruise to Vernon Downs.  It is in the Discussion stage.

  -    A Free Pig Roast is being offered on June 18 at the Oriskany Legion, as part of

       a Bride Follow Event, an Invitation to our Club Members has been extended.

 

New Business Continued

-      Brian Getbehead, Owner of RTD, has Donated a Laser Printer to our Club.

       The Donation also includes a spare Drum and Toner.  Thanks Brian.

-      Tents,  for Members Use - $25,  Non-Member - $50

 

 

August Show

- Show Car Field Parking - A.J. Fellone & Chris VanLare.

   Flea Market & Field Marking – Miles Thompson.

   Handicap Parking – Bob Murtha.

   Spectator Parking – Jim Brady and Brian Esch.

-  Lee Baseball has Said We can use the Field Liners and Lining Lime.

-  The Staff Shirts have Rite Aid on them, Rick Aiello Stated He will check on New Shirts.

-  Products for the Goodie Bags,  Maguires Wax Sample, Summitt and Skip Merithew has

     Items from Jasper Engines and Transmissions.

 

A motion by Bob Murtha, Seconded by Brad Edwards to close the meeting. Motion passed.

Meeting closed at 8:05PM.
