September 2007 Newsletter

Notes from the Sept 4th Membership Meeting:

*The monthly meeting was held at the Delta Lake Fire Dept 7:00 p.m.; 29 members were in attendance.
*Nominations for elections will be at the NEXT MEETING: October 2nd.
*Our Road Rally is tentatively scheduled for Saturday October 6th- the Rally will be the Camden Parade with our picnic to follow at Lee Town Park. Be at the parade field around noon. We are inviting the Six Nations Pontiac Club to our picnic. Our picnic will start around 3 PM. Our rain date for the picnic is Sunday the 7th. We will be grilling for this event and keeping the menu simple. We are asking everyone to bring a gift worth $5 to go in the grab bag. If you were not at this meeting and did not sign up for this event, you must call Mustang Dick at 337-2373 ASAP. Your significant other, and children are welcome, but we must have a head count before the 15th of this month so we can order the food. All in favor for this vote.
*Discussion on Friday's Cruise- it was fun to see and wow what a 50/50!!!
*There will be at least two more Cruises weather permitting. Motion was made and seconded to let Theresa Aiello cook the food for the next two cruises. All in favor.
*Tanya's Tee's shirt vendor will give the club 10% for a spot at our cruises. All in favor for this vote.
*Taste of the Arts will be the 15th and 16th.
*Larry Natarelli did a presentation for the member's only jackets. A committee was set up to handle this- Larry, Elliott,
Lenny & Rick.
*One of our new members, Tony Grago is a semi professional photographer and has done a nice job on photos club member's cars. There was discussion on the possibility of a club calendar for 2009.
*Lots of discussion on next years Car Show. Volunteers for next year please sign up.
*Lots of discussion on major charity for this year and tabled until next meeting.
*The "members only" tee shirts are here and they are great! See/ call Miles Thompson (335-9680).
*Motion to adjourn the meeting made; meeting ended at 8:40 PM.

Mustang Alley - from Dick Bronson

The 66 mustang was the final year for the original mustang engine lineup, with a small-block 289 as the flagship.

Keep in Your Thoughts and Prayers

If you know of a member and/or family member who has died, is hospitalized, or ill, let us know so we can keep them in our prayers.

Dave Esch's wife, MaryAnn is recovering from surgery and said to keep the prayers coming since they are really working.
Tommy Squires is in Camillus Rehab Center and needs our well wishes.
