The September 7 meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by the President with the
Pledge of Allegiance. 24 Members were present.
Treasurer’s Report given by Miles;
- 82 Members have paid their Dues for 2010.
* The Treasurer’s Report was accepted by the Membership in attendance.
- Charitable Donations –
We need to decide how we are going to Donate the Money from the
Syracuse Nationals. Please have Ideas ready for October Meeting.
- A Motion was made to Donate 10 Car Seats to Rome Hospital for needy New Parents
By Mike Sczaras, 2nd by Larry Natarelli, and Passed. The Hospital notified us
the other Day, that they Do Not Accept them, Due to Liability Issues.
- Donations from Car Show Earnings
- A Motion was made to Limit Donations from Show Earnings to $150 so as to
Diversify our Charitable Gifts, by Miles, Motion Passed.
- We need Ideas on where we are going to distribute our Charitable Gifts. Please
have Ideas for the October Meeting.
- If you have any Unneeded Stuffed Animals for Donation to the Rome Police to give
to Children at Scenes they Respond to. Contact Jim Brady.
Old Business
- Bank of America, they agreed to wave their Fees if we use their Supplied Debit
Card at least once a Month. It was agreed to accept this offer and to purchase
Postage once a Month.
- We owe about $2200 to the children’s Miracle Network on behalf of Rite Aid.
- It was decide to purchase the Cake for the Final Cruise-In September 17, from
Molly Pritchard with a Picture of the Club Logo printed on it at a Cost of $50.
Cake was well enjoyed by all.

New Business
- Mike Sczaras Suggested that Members of our Club Support the Clubs that
Support us.
- Since the club did well with the Car Show this Year, and we also need to be prepared
to Conduct the Car Show on our own in the event we have to. Dennis was asked to
check with his Brother, a CPA, about how much Money the Club can carry from
one Year to the next. Dennis stated we can carry over as much as we would like to.
- It was suggested that we need to save about $5000 to do the Car Show and about $2000
to do the Cruise-In. The Car Show this Year we spent $3000 + $1400 for Trophies.
- A Club Picnic at Nothing was being set up by Mike Sczaras for October 3, but has been
Cancelled due to only 24 Members interested, 75 were needed. Those who worked the
Car Show were Free and all others were going to be $5 each.
- Painting the Power House was to have been October 2, but this has been done
September 23, by Bob Augustine, Jim Brady, Jim Esch, Mike O’rourke, and
Rick Aiello.
- We have had very good club Participation this Year in Working our Events.
Well Done to All that has Helped Out. This is what being a part of a Club is
is all about.
- Jim is trying to get the Rome Observer to do a Story about our Club and what we
Are all about.
- Thersa Aiello Volunteered and was then Appointed to chair the Christmas Party.
- Our Tents are getting Old and Worn, They either need repaired or Replaced.
Mike Sczaras is going to check on repairs. New is $2000 + Poles.
- Club Officer Election Nominations are Due to be done at October Meeting.
News
- Paul Strife won Best Street Rod at the 7 Valley Show.
- A group of Members is going to the Sydney Car Show October 3, if interested
get in touch with Jim Brady
- Tucci’s has Heated Indoor Storage for $100/Month.
- Former Club Secretary Marie Gauci has received another promotion and is Moving
to Texas. Her Old E-Mail was mgauci@twcny.rr.com if you want to try and drop
her a note.
- If any Club Members Golf get ahold of Jim, and he will setup an Outing.
- In the Sping the Mohegans and Right Coast do a Shop Tour, Mike Sczaras will
Keep us notified.
A motion was made and seconded to close the meeting. Motion passed.
Meeting closed at 8:19PM.
